We are MAP Grant awardees!

In 2019 we received a MAP grant in support of our work TRANSMISSION, an 80 minute performance, scheduled to premiere at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater (KST) in Pittsburgh, PA in May 2020. This money will support a three-week residency culminating in an evening length work. During this residency we will work closely with local anti-racist activists, water protectors, Indigenous artists, and students at Carnegie Mellon University.

Due to COVID-19, this premiere has been moved to 2021.

Core member, Heidi Wiren Bartlett, received an Iowa Arts Council Project Grant to support our project DIS/UNITY: A Service at the Englert Theater in Iowa City, IA in September 2017. The Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, helps support many thought provoking projects across the state.

Funding for the Art Project Grant program is made possible by an annual appropriation from the Iowa Legislature to the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
